The trails that lead through the reserve are a great opportunity to stretch your legs before you carry on with your canal journey. At Castlefield Junction, turn right onto the Wakefield branch. The Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield is another great attraction on the way which is well worth a visit. Fancy a trip to the famous Yorkshire Sculpture Park? If you’ve got a bit of extra time on your hands, you can take a short taxi to visit this truly incredible place. Soon, you’ll reach the turning point of your cruise, Horbury Bridge.
